Pedro Morrison Memorial begins with Thursday round-robin

The 2014 Pedro Morrison Memorial Cup gets started on Thursday, November 6th at Grand Champions Polo Club with six teams participating in the three-day long tournament.
Competition gets underway with a three-team round-robin on Thursday at 2:30PM when Flight Options (Melissa Ganzi, Wes Finlayson, Guille Aguero and Juan Bollini) takes on Palm Beach Equine (Gene Goldstein, Brandon Phillips, Jeff Blake and Scott Swerdlin).
The loser of the opening three chukkers will remain on the field to play Palm Beach Polo (Glenn Straub, Alejandro Gonzalez, Kris Kampsen and Roberto Gonzalez).
The final three chukkers of play will pit Palm Beach Polo against the winner of game 1 (Flight Options vs. Palm Beach Equine).
Tournament play will continue on Friday with a second round-robin match featuring CT Energia (Marc Ganzi, Alessandro Bazzoni, Nic Roldan and Carlitos Gracida), Casablanca (Grant Ganzi, Juancito Bollini, Jeff Hall and Julio Gracida) and Team USPA (Jared Shelton, Patrick Uretz, Mason Wroe and Felipe and alternate, Jesse Bray).
Friday action will begin at 2:30PM. The Grand Champions Polo Club is located in Wellington, on the corner of Lake Worth Road and South Shore. There is no charge and the public is graciously invited to attend.
